For instructors, Atomic Search includes Find & Replace, the ability to locate and update text across course content in bulk. Need to update a broken link, fix a date, or replace outdated terminology? Do it across one course or your entire account without opening each page individually.

For administrators, Atomic Search provides analytics that Brightspace doesn't offer natively: what students are searching for, which searches return no results, how adoption is growing across your institution, and where content gaps exist. Brightspace Release Conditions Support Atomic Search respects Brightspace Release Conditions. Content that hasn't been released to a student won't appear in their search results, maintaining the integrity of your course design.

Search Analytics Course Search Analytics show the exact terms students search for and how often. Admin-level Usage Analytics track total users, active users, search volume, course coverage, and adoption trends over time, broken down by month and by role.

Automatic Indexing Courses are indexed automatically on installation and updated every 10 hours for active courses. Instructors can also trigger a manual re-index at any time.
