Class is software developed by Class Technologies Inc., a company founded by edtech pioneer Michael Chasen. Class enables the secure and active learning of 10M+ users from 1,500+ institutions worldwide and is the largest provider of virtual classroom software for education. 

Class was founded in June of 2020. Since then, Class has grown from 0 to 1,500+ clients across the K12, Higher Education, and Coporate Learning industries. In July of 2022, Class acquired Anthology's Blackboard Collaborate business line to build on the explosive growth from 2020-present. Consult your local LTI Advantage experts or Brightspace user documentation for details on the set-up steps and necessary permissions for creating and managing LTI 1.3 or LTI Advantage tools.
