The integration process includes two parts: D2L setup – done by the client (admin privileges are required); LTI Connector setup – done by Constructor. Requirements (Mandatory) The D2L domain should be accessible via HTTPS so it must have a valid SSL certificate. (Recommended) The LMS domain cookies should have the following attributes: SameSite=None and Secure=True. This is required for seamless user authentication. (Optional) Test-taker experience will differ depending on how your D2L is deployed: on premise or in the cloud (SaaS): On-premise D2L: tests can be embedded in iframe, so examinees can take proctored exams in Google Chrome. SaaS D2L: tests can’t be embedded in iframe, so examinees should use our Chromium-based Secure Browser to take exams.
